Jordy Reid played regularly for the Melbourne Unicorns in the Dewar Shield, after switching from Harlequin where he played a key role in the 2013 premiership, before undergoing shoulder surgery that saw him miss the Melbourne Rising campaign in the Buildcorp National Rugby Championship (NRC) but return fit and raring to go for the Rebels’ 2015 pre-season.
Round One of the Direct Connect Dewar Shield got underway on the weekend, with the first Match of the Round between Melbourne and Footscray providing a thriller on a superb day at the Henry Turner Reserve.
