The Melbourne Unicorns Rugby Club have won the Cowper Shield for an impressive sixth straight year. The Cowper Shield is not just about success on field, it is also about growth and participation across all levels.
MIXED RESULTS FOR UNICORNS IN JUNIOR RUGBY SEMI FINALS
A mixed day for the Unicorns in the VRU Junior Semi Finals for 2015. Despite going down to Endeavour Hills, the U12A team did their best and kept fighting until the final whistle. On Field One the U14B team defeated the Rams in probably their most complete performance of the season.

WOMEN’S TEAM FALLS SHORT IN RUGBY GRAND FINAL
The Women’s Rugby Grand Final 2015 was definitely a ‘Clash of the Titans’ as the two top teams all season battled for that allusive silverware. The pitch was firm under foot, the weather was fit for purpose, and the Melbourne Unicorns were ready to take on the might of the Moorabbin Rams.

Congratulations to the Melbourne Unicorns Premier 3 and Premier 4 teams who both won their Grand Finals in 2015. The Unicorns Women’s team went agonisingly close, but in the end had to be satisfied with Minor Premiers and Runners Up in 2015.
